I have two impellars with the water pump and they are both functioning as far as I can tell. One is ther anyway to test the water pump before putting it back on the engine. It turns with the drive shaft. And two. I removed one impellar because the other one is in ok shape. Anyways I sheared of the key and I replaced it but now I had it back on the boat and still not working. Can anyone help????? DO both impellars need to be on the same way?

PLease need any help I can get.

Re: Water pump

If Sears can't get you one try a NAPA Auto parts store. They stock some outboard parts. It could be that your motor was made by Chrysler or one of the other manufacture. You know the year and Model of your motor?
