water pump ?

ok carb cleaned and she runs,But,1978 clinton seaking 1978 air cooled and waterpump below should i have a stream of water from it cause all i have is a mist coming out is this ok or ?? also a slight oil on my finger when i felt it is that a concern ? thanks.

A mist is correct and some oil on the fingers, my only concern would be the age of the impeller. Eska and Clinton used the same impeller so with the correct model number you can get one here http://home.earthlink.net/~brixent/index.html

mrcrabs, do you think i should replace waterpump also, get waterpump kit and impeller ? thankyou.

Those impellers are super chintzy. The rest is probably ok.

not unless its pitted bad or the drive shaft bushing is gone or into the housing, but be sure to get a new key or pin
