Water Pump

E15RCCS. I was trying out some of my projects today. I went thru fuel system and got this engine running great. I noticed it was not pumping water. Replaced impeller. Have a few hours on it now, peeing properly. This morning I noticed minimal peeing and minimal water at ?blubber hole?.. Off with the lower. Part #318972 had ridden the driveshaft halfway up. Well there is the lack of water problem. I tapped piece back into housing, seems like friction fit. How to prevent this?

318972 drive shaft seal should be a tight fit in the plastic pump housing. I guess you have to figure out which is defective, seal or housing. Might try Gorilla Glue. Yeah, I said that as a joke, but it might get one thinking of some acceptable sealant.
