Water-repellent jacket

I have a goose down jacket. The outer shell is, I think, rip-stop nylon. Although it's very warm, it soaks up rain drops like a sponge. Does anyone know a way to treat this rip-stop to make it even a little water-repellent?

Silicone spray will work. The problem with goose down is it looses almost all it's insulating properties when it get wet.

both great ideas.. I doubt you'll be disapointed by the Frogg Togg suggestion - It's good stuff.
