Went looking for a water separating gas filter today, wanted something smaller that didnt take up a lot of room for my 150 Merc. Napa didnt have anything I liked so went to the local marine dealer. Ended up buying a filter made by Honda. Nice compact design and it even has a clear bottom with a drain so you can see if you have any water to deal with. Less than $40.00 and the dealer said you only have to change the filter every two years which will offset the cost of the expensive filter element. Anyway, I like it, Probably could have found one cheaper if I would have looked around more, but I like the compact size.

Funny, there are no model #s on it anywhere.

I like the idea of the clear bottom/drain. It gives you a good idea of when to change. I just put a standard merc unit on mine and am going to get the racor replacement filter next time. Great investment at such a small price for the huge protection factor. Everyone should have one!
