Water Separator , larger filter verses smaller filter

Motor is a 2000 - 250 hp - 2 stroke - fuel injected SX -250 TXRY ,
Question regarding fuel - water separator
3232 Racor - presently installed on boat , larger filter with plastic base
verses 3214 - smaller in size - clear base
both 10 micron
wanted too install 3214 - since there is a clearance issue where its mounted
They both do the same ,
Is larger filter recommended for the 250 - HP ? - R fuel wholes bit larger too handle larger HP engines or makes no difference

If boat is left in the water use a large filter.----If it lives in the driveway a smaller filter will do.

The answer will depend if you have had any water issues previously. If yes then bigger is better...if no then any filter will do.Charlie

max flow rate of the 3232 is 120 gph and the 3214 is 60 gph so u should be good to go and the 3214 has the bowl at the bottom to drain the water
