Water seperator before or after primer bulb?

I just purchased a Racor water sep filter (small outboard model) for my 2006 20 hp honda. I will be permanently mounting the filter to the transom area.

My question for those familiar with these filters:
In regards to priming the engine, does it make any difference if this filter is installed 'before' or 'after' the hose primer bulb?

My guess is that it doesn't matter - but before I slice into my new fuel hose I would appreciate your experiences/advice.

Before the primer bulb.

before the primer, go: tank, filter, primer.

Either way will work fine. On all my boats, I put it:

Tank> Bulb> Filter> Engine

And never had any problems..
