Water shutter for exhaust on a Merc 90 3.0

I've got a 1990 or 91 Merc 3.0 with, apparently, no water shutters in the exhaust. I'm going to re-pull the tube tonight and check, but I just got new bellows and noticed the shutter was gone. I got water up to the cylinders (all 4) a few months ago when coming to an abrupt stop, which is what made me think something might be up.

A couple of the shutters on iboats.com look like the one in the book.

Sorry for the question but I tried a google and everything first and can't figure out which part number I need.

arrkerr haven't had much experience with the exaust shutters yet! but have you tried downloading your power plants manual from the stickies section you might find some part# help within it's worth a shot. Good luck

Found it.

Part number is 60930.

Mine has two square cut-outs in the exhaust tube in which this fits. Only question is if the replacement part comes with the ends to fit in the square holes. Other models use the same shutter but with a retainer that pushes down on top of the shutter instead of square holes on the ends.

I'll try to remember to update the post once it arrives.
