Hello,<br /><br />What kind of 4-stroke do I need to get the same perfomance from an 85-90 2-stroke?

maillon,<br /><br />There have been many discussions here about this.<br /><br />Horsepower is horsepower. Torque and torque rise is a different story. The 4-strokes have been "typically" a little more sluggish out of the hole. <br /><br />With that said, I would go to a 115, and you should be happy. The 115, in most cases, is going to get you into a larger displacement engine, over an engine in the 75-90 class. <br /><br />Remember, weight is going to play here especially concentrated on the stern.
