Water spitting out from top of lower unit...

While running my 94' 30hp Evinrude spits water from what seems like small cracks on both sides, where the lower unit meets the midsection. Is this a problem? If so, how do I fix it?

It's not really a problem, you could drop the lower unit and clean the mating surfaces if you want, might help.
