I have a 1971 55HP Chrysler. Model 557HC. On top of the head is the temp sensor. I have this motor mounted on a 1977 Starcraft Capri 15'. Tri hull open bow. It has a speedometer and a tach mounted on top of (not in dash) the front of dash. chrome in color. I am looking for a water temp gage of similar color also one that could be mounted on front dash, not in. Can anyone guide me to an inexpensive, chrome, on dash mounted water temp gage? Prefer new with the new sensor. What kind would be recommended for a 71 55HP Chrysler. Or does the motor even mater? Not sure if they are made motor specific.
