I have a 89 Bayliner Capri CC with a 2.3l ford i/o. I have a question. My temp gauge quit working. I found a leak and fixed it. Now the temp gauge works. I noticed that while the boat ran on the muffs in the yard, the temp got to around 210-230 and then went down. I noticed alot of steam coming from the stern where the exhaust bellows are at. Is this normal? Once the temp went down, i let it run for about 10min and it didnt move. It stayed around 140. Is this ok or do i have a problem?

Pull the cover off the drive and check the impeller.
How much pressure does the hose have?
The thermo is it in place?
