Well, I am almost complete with entire engine overhaul. It is a 1985 50hp (H0507F85A). Everything is fine except getting water tube back into powerhead. I just realized I need an O-ring and a washer per parts manual. How does this copper tube go back into powerhead? There must be a hole that tube with O-ring fits into. Just feeling around with the tube by itself I cannot seem to find it. Also, is this some special washer and O-ring or can I find what I need at a hardware store? Any comments will be greatly appreciated.
