water wings?

what in the world are water wings and how might i get a hold of some? anyone in the nashville, tennessee area got a set they want to get rid of?

Not to be ignorant, but if you don't know what they are, why would you want to buy them? What do these water wings do & where do they do it? Is it part of a Motor? Flotation for Kids? I've heard both!

I suspect what chris is asking about is what goes under the trade-name 'StingRay' and 'Dolfin'. They are a device that mounts to the anti-cavitation plate on the top of the LU to aid in achieving plane in a shorter distance. And yes, they do work, especially in the case of slightly underpowered boats. They work by keeping the bow of the boat down during initial power application. This way the boat will ride up on top sooner rather than plowing water. The StingRay works great on my boat.
