Follow the directions in the kit. There are two basic installations 1) simply "T" into the tell tale and 2) tap into an unused water jacket port. The idea is to install a new water pump impeller at the same time. Take a pressure reading at idle and wide open throttle and write those numbers down somewhere. Any deviation in the future means its time for a new impeller. Without the impeller change you have no idea what is normal as no two engines are identical -- especially after they have some time on them.
