Hi again, been on here alot these past few days. Well I had the boat out of garage storage for a week now and last night it rained pretty good, I went out to check only to find about 5gal of water in the bilge (plug was left in) I wanted to see how the cover was at keeping the rain out and found out it doesn't help much. Anyways today at the department store I saw some waterproofing stuff in the camping section, it said for waterproofing camper awnings in a pump spray bottle, also there was stuff in the tent area that was in an aerosol spray, Both were about 6.99 ea. I didn't buy because I figured I would need about at least 5 cans to do the whole thing. Is there a better way or am I going to have to the spray bombs?

You can use the areosol, but IMO you're paying extra for the convienience.
I've used the MaryKate waterproofer with good success. It's sold online and most marine retailers. It comes in a small pump bottle, but for a large area like yours, get the large economy size.
I like to lay the cover upside-down on the ground, then spray it liberally- until it's soaking wet. Let the sun dry it completely, then turn it over and do the same thing to the topside. It'll stay waterproof for at least a year.
