Waterpump rebuild question

Hello gentlemen,

I just purchased the waterpump rebuild kit for my 1984 Evinrude 140. My service manual won't be here until tomorrow and I am trying to get everything together that I will need. In the waterpump rebuild kit it calls for lots of different sealers, lubes and grease. Here is what it lists:

BMCA Moly Lube (this is the one thing that there was a small packet of in the kit)
BMCA adhesive M sealant
BCMA triple-guard grease
BCMA Gasket sealing compound
BMCA outboard lubricant
BMCA needle bearing assembly grease

My question is do I really need to buy all this stuff from the boat shop or can I substitute some stuff I already have, or purchase low cost stuff at the auto parts store?

Thanks,

JB

use permatex 300 in the can with brush install im pellar rubbed down with a little grease permatex your base gasket that goes under plate and use lite amount of antiseize or a little grease on drive shaft splines you dont need all that ive done it with all the works and done it basic no difference just drop lower every summer and inspect ,change lower unit oil and fill seals while your at it
