Hey guys -

I am looking any recommendations you have for waxing a riveted, decaled boat, and then being able to wipe away any excess wax, so you don't get wax stuck in the rivets and then by the edges of the decals.

I've seen boats out there w/ the white outline around the decals and it looks tacky..and the wax sticking in the rivets concerns me.

Thanks!

Use a paste wax because it dries more powdery than liquid.Wax along the edge of the decal, dont go perpendicular or you will jam the wax into the edge.as far as your rivets ,if you are so concerned with getting wax on them then dont wax them and if you do that is the price you pay for having that type of boat. You will have to do the one by one with your finger.Charlie
