WD hitch

Hello All,

I am looking to level out my trailer with the use of a weight dist hitch, but I know nothing about them! I am driving a 2004 Nissan Pathfinder, and pulling a Grew 184. My total boat/trailer package is probably 3500# or so... and it currently sinks the rear end of my pathfinder. I have replaced the coil springs, but it made very little difference.

Would this be a decent WD package? Valley hitch, with a 500 to 800 tongue weight, with 2 bars. (Now called Husky)

Any concerns with purchasing a used WD hitch??

Thanks in advance!

Re: WD hitch

You really shouldn't need a WD hitch for that light of a boat. How much tongue weight do you have? 10% would be 350 lbs. I would check that first...
