Weak water stream on 50 ELPTO

I just changed the impeller on my 2008 50 ELPTO but the water stream is still pretty weak coming out of the pee hole. The motor is still cooling but I don’t think the stream is strong enough. I cleared the tube of any obstructions but I don’t think the pressure is what it should be. Any thoughts?

On a hose ?-----With the boat launched ?-----Makes a difference.

Check the entire tell-tale hose for funk buildup, verify proper orientation and key lined up on impeller, good deal on pump housing, proper size impeller. If still weak (this only applies only in a barrel or in the lake) you may have corrosion build up in the water jacket. Honestly however, if the motor is running at a healthy temperature I wouldn’t worry too much about it unless motor tries to run warm or tell-tale quits
