Wondering if any of the members are from Long Island and fishing the Great South Bay? I've been going out fishing every weekend real early hitting the bay by 5:30 am. No boat traffic! I've been spending my time between Ocean beach and the Islip beach I'm looking to catch weakfish but have had no luck over the past few weekends. I'm catching but no weak's I'm looking for the big Tideruners but anything will do at this point.
Last week I was told to fish in front of Sayville docks out by the channel marker 10 -15 feet of water. Nothing....
Any advice on where to spend my time would be great. I understand if you don't want to post your spot on the internet so maybe you can tell me off list?? Please.......
