Will Edelbrock rods and jets work ok in a Weber 625cfm carb? Edelbrock says in their description that they are designed for edelbrock and not to use in other brands. Anyone know the story on this?

Anyone ever set one of these up on a Ford 302 or maybe a 305 chevy? Would love to have a baseline of the rods/jets so I don't have to do so much trial/error. I'm setting up on a 302, but my guess is the tune for a 305 wouldn't be that different?

Re: Weber/Edelbrock Carb metering rods

I bought the Carter, Federal/Mogul,.. Strip Kit,... Part# 10-201..........
I think I paid about $30.00 a few years ago,......
It's a Great Package,..... Tons of Needles, Jets,+ Springs.............

It Appears to be a Carbon Cpoy of the Edlebrock Kits I've been seeing around...........

Although I Haven't had the 2 Carbs on a bench, Side by Side,......
I Also Haven't been able to identify Any Differences in them Either,.........

I'm planing on buying the Eldebrock Electric Choke Conversion for a Weber I'm playing with now.......

Thanks Bondo. The Carter stuff appears to be NLA. I suspect the parts are the same. The rods in my Weber match numbers with the edelbrock V6 kit.

The Edelbrock strip kit is $50 or so now.
