I need a few hoses for the oil injection system, as i got some rubber hoses from auto-zone and dont know if they will work. So just going to get the clear hoses that were on. The hoses were brittle and cracked. Is there a website that shows the whole inside of the engine, with part numbers and such, so that way i know what im looking for? The hoses im looking for the the clear hose that T's up from the gas line, and the one above it that comes down from the oil tank. I beileve the one bigger hose i got will work for the tank, as its braided. The smaller one for the T i dont know about because its just rubber, and not braided. My motor is a 1988 black max 150

Thanks

Try the following site from Merc you enter your serial number and then select a dealer and you will get a list of the various component groups. Look through them and you will find what you are looking for.

That site says my motor is a 2.0? I thought the black max V6 was a 2.5?

The hoses are sold seperate and they send you enough for 2 changes, $20 or so for both pieces. Just use small electrical ties for the clamping.

Would a marina or a decent boat store carry them? I dont have any credit cards or anything so ordering off the net probably wont happen.

I would think any Mercury dealer would have them in stock. They are generic and fit many different motors, I was told that was why they are as long as they are, even though I only needs less that 1/2 of the lengths. Other engine must need longer hose.
