weep hole...where abouts?

I have an 87 3.7L (470) and was wondering exactly where abouts this weep hole is located near the circulating pump onthe front of the motor

Sure, one of those haunts me all day and I get a question about it on my home computer too.

As you're sitting in the boat looking aft, it's on the left side of the front of the motor behind the hose for the closed cooling between the triangular hose fitting and head above. In order, you have that triangular fitting, the cover behind it, and the housing behind that. It's in that last housing just before the block at about 8 o'clock. The hose sticks out left and goes up. It's about at the bottom of the hose where it starts to go up.

Crap, now I suppose I'll have nightmares tonight about these to boot.

thanks alot, I think I might have the start of anti freeze dripping .... stupid seals...... but i'm not sure if it was from the mess i made when troubleshooting my leaking antifreeze out of the drive....had a bad heat exchanger...so i'll have to investigate and look.... and pray its not from the cam shaft seals

stupid lemmon... its starting to drip under the water circ. pump through the weep hole.... now I know they have speedi sleeves and would have to get new camshaft seals.... but how hard is this project to do and what whould I need to rip apart and tear out....... estimated time to install seals and sleeves??

I know, I wish I never bought this boat last year but I had to have it!

What does this mean? Why can't you just replace the circulating pump (i.e. few bolts, new gasket, done)?
