I have a 1984 125hp which I used many parts from a 1984 85hp to rebuild, and my weep holes are on the rear of the motor on the upper half of the lower unit. There are two holesz that look like a nose sticking out. The two 85hp's I had were the same. Here is a pic of mine, I hope it helps.

Depends upon what you mean by weep holes. The holes in the back of the engine as shown in the above photo are actually idle relief vents. They relieve backpressure when the engine is sitting low in the water and thus improve the idle. Exhaust and water exit from them.

There are two actual weep holes in the lower unit underneath the cavitation plate just in front of the mounting bolts. These 1/8 inch holes drain two blind cavities on either side of the water pump. They prevent standing water in these cavities and prevent corrosion. You will occaisionally see water and a bit of oil leaking from these holes. This is normal.
