Best way to find out is to go to a truck scale and have it weighed. Around here, any of the gravel pits will let you pull it on the scale, disconnect truck, and weight it for $5. Other estimates are just that. I've weighed a couple of homade trailers. One more word of advice, try to get to the pit at a time when they aren't as busy, and be courteous with truckers that are hauling loads for money. Hope that helps.

There is a way to weigh it by putting a bathroom scale under the front at a set distance from the axel, checking the weight then moving the scale back a measured distance and checking the weight again.
After you have the 2 weights & 2 distances it's a simple calculation to work out the weight of the whole rig if you know the formula.
I found it on the internet but have since lost it.

If you were to furnish the vehicle type/model and the boat information, the experienced members on the trailer section would be able to give general, knowledgeable information as to you question.

Stop by your local scrap yard and ask the guy to do you a favor and tell ya the weight(Done it before). Just subtract your trucks weight and bingo. IF I had to guess though, Is say between a ton or a ton.5
