Weight of gear oil for chrysler 55HP

Hi all,
I'm planing on changing the gear oil on the lower unit, and water pump of my 1974 Chrysler 55 HP, Model 557HG.

I need to know the weight of gear oil it requires, and if any one knows where to purchase a water pump kit for this model engine?

Any help would be great!

Any marine grade lower unit oil rated extreme pressure in the 85-95 range is good. I think that water pump impeller is the same as early Force 50s so look right here on iboats. Otherwise try your local Mercury dealer.

I put in Pennzoil Marine 80W-90.
