weight of Merc 200?

Hi <br /><br />Anybody know what a good approximation or maybe the real weight of a 1973 Mercury 200 20hp outboard? <br /><br />Thanks.

If you go to Mercury's site and check under your HP class it will give you the weight of the new motors. I found that's close. I repowered this year and used that info to decide what size motor to use.

If I had to guess, I'd say in the 75-85 lb. range. The longshaft version would be a bit more...<br /><br />- Scott
