About 175 lbs. I remember from a few years ago when I was about to buy one. The new 3 cylinder 40-50-60 hp are all the same block and weigh about 210 lbs. Your 40 HP is a real strong 40 HP originally a 50 HP power head rated. Very smooth troller engine with good torq. It was the last of the old cross scavenged engines with a very unique reed valve system. One of Mercury's better engines....
