Weird oil coming from above water intake..

Had another thread about getting this running and finally got it running and now ran into another problem, motor sat for a few years the guy told me, we finally got it running today, and hooked up the bunny ears to let her run for a while, when I noticed some oil or something coming out of the water exiting by above the prop, see pictures, it looks like its coming from where my finger is in the bottom picture, pointers please, this thing finally runs and now I have this problem. Thanks!

i c , thanks for the input ill check that link out, and also i just wanted to add, it wouldnt be from having the hose on full blast into the intake would it, pushing in to much water? and pushing it around the seals ? and yes it is coming out of the exhaust.... its like oozing out,,,,

***RADAR RICK thank you very much, that link was very helpful, I do I think I mixed it a bit rich too, and it does make sense, I will pull the plug tomorrow on the lower unit to redo the gear lube and make sure theres no water or anything. Thanks a bunch I got a smile back on my face. :)

Impossible to put to much water in there. Radar is right, un-burned fuel/oil. Be sure you have the correct plugs and they are gapped right.

It's a good idea to install new gaskets on the fill & drain plugs. The gaskets tend to compress & deform easily and allow water to seep in.

Ok is there a website I can get parts from ? And how hard are they to change and tutorials ? Anywhere ? Thanks

You are on the right site! IBoats has pretty much all you will need. You might get a service manual for your motor, they are a big help.
