weird oil discharge

Ok, being new to boat ownership I have a quick question. I've noticed that after flushing my motor, 25HP Merc, I get an oily discharge from the props exhaust port. It's smells of gas, so I thought it might just be oily exhaust residue that is mixing with water and draining out of the exhaust port through the prop. I get very small pools of grey exhaust oil nearly emulsified with water on the floor that turn dark black overtime. I have to keep the engine in it's full down postition to fit in the garage. I'm guessing everything is ok, just wanted to run it by y'all...<br /><br />imac

Nothing out of the ordinary... Got a nice black spot on my driveway too...

thanks for the reply, I was told to check the head bolts... the motor isn't a year old yet, the previous owner did all the proper maintance.. 10 hr, 20 hr etc.. so I'm not worried, just curious<br /><br />Peace
