Weird transom, Smart Tabs installation advice

My transom looks like this, minus the transducer:

Anyone installed some smart tabs on a transom like this? Just doesn't have a straight area long enough for the hinge bracket. I know I could call Nauticus but just figured I'd run it by you guys first. Any ideas?

My boat has those (chines I think) on the bottom. Kind of crappy pics, but the second pic shows my boat before the Smart Tabs. I just mounted them over the chines as lined up to the bottom as possible. They work great for me.

The hull of our Sea Ray Sundeck 200 had the same problem....I had e-mailed Nauticus and they said not a problem...just make sure the hinge is not below any of the hull. I don't have pics of them installed {boat is in the lake right now...wonder why it is there} but had no problem with them and they did exactly what I wanted, IE bringing the plane speed down to about 17 or so and getting on plane much faster.

Not a great pic of the transom, but gives you an idea of what I had to work with. Mounted the trim tabs on the strake where the tie down strap is.... And it does overhang to the next step down.

Thanks for the pics guys. Thats kinda what I was thinking, that I'll just have to line up the hinge with the bottom as much as possible.

NICE!!! This is was my exact concern. My transom looks the same. Plan for a winter install for next summer.

Salmonee, what kind of boat do you have? I haven't seen a lot of boats like ours.
