Weird ???

Hello I just bought a 26.6 century 7000 about 3 weeks ago and I had replaced the batteries when i found a switch 1/1+2/3/off .so i put the batteries in and fired up the boat runs great .My ? is I turned off the switch and all the interior lights still come on ?no power to motor though. So Leaving the switch off I unplugged the shore power and the lights still came on?? What my ? is .Is the switch correct??I thought off ment off??Is the switcher hooked up wrong if so can someone please tell me how to correct this problem???I never messed with a switcher before and i dont ant my batteries to go dead..any help would be great...

It sounds as if the previous owner was using the switch to select which batteries the motor started from. Not right or wrong, just how they did it.

If you want tot switch to kill everything then you'll need to remove all the accessory wires off the positive battery terminals and connect them to the COM post on the switch. This will then select which batteryu you are draining/charging from.
