Welding question

Hello!<br /><br />This is probably a silly question but I like to think its better to ask than be sorry.<br />I want to do some welding on the transom bracket of my 63 bigtwin. Is it ok to do the welding with the motor still attached to the transom bracket or should I remove it? The last thing that I want to do is damage the motor after spending so much time rebuilding it!<br />If it is a daft question then I beg your forgivness. <br />Regards<br />Tich

make sure ya dont catch anything on fire.<br /> wont hurt anything as long as ya dont lite it up. have second person with a fire bottle as a fire watch and go for it.
