Not the classic starcrafts you all have, but we all can't be lucky bastards. Not bad shape at all. Paint is decent with a little shine. I think she will perk right up with a clean/seal/wax. Interior is dirty, but mostly intact and solid. Missing bolster pads and have one spongy spot on the floor. Just to make it mine, I put a big scratch on the side of it the first day I got it. lol

80's 140hp johnson with less than 25hrs on full rebuild. I think I'm in trouble with that 19p prop I have.

"classic" enough for me. really not all that durn much difference from an SS. and i think i can speak for many of the folks on here with "classic" SCs when i say that i'm jealous....lovely boat.

and i bet you spend less overall than most of our bottom feeder "bargains"

if rest of floor is OK, wonder if it would be possible to cut out the bad area, screw some backer strips to the adjacent wood so they extend under the cutout hole and help support the patch, and patch with new ply before doing carpet? this would be pretty invisible after you got carpet down and might let you put off major demolition for a bit if your transom is OK.

What model is that, tincan? Not too shabby, at all. Yeah, you can come in but at the back of the line. :D

GA, be nice there. you're going to make the poor guy feel like a glasser owner.....:D

i think it's a 19' Superfisherman....sort of a morph of SS and Mariner characteristics but mostly SS like, with what looks to be sharper windshield rake than SS

1991 190 sfm(superfisherman)

Finding a little more soft wood in the ol' girl, but she will be fine for the season. this is going to be a get her in the water a deal season, aslong as its safe. Then we will rework her in the winter. good thing wood is not structural in a tin can.

except the transom wood, which very much is structural......other than that, you only have .080" aluminum sheet to hang the weight of your outboard on. check that carefully but if that's OK, let er rip.

the "ol' girl" is barely old enough to drink, or buy pistols..........

after I installed the outboard, I put the transom to the test by rocking the outboard with my big *** putting weight on her. seems really solid.

TCM -

Its a beautiful boat!! Dont let all the old boat old men/women tell you its not! :D I like the superfisher model!! The bigger ones are great for fishing on Lake Superior up here in northern MN and many folks use them.

She's newer than most of the SS model on here, but I do like the layout of your superfisherman. Quite similar to the SS open bowrider..congrats and welcome to Starmada
