Went 'out' for dinner yesterday. Pics!

Took the family for a little ride yesterday and had dinner while drifting around and watching the wildlife.

As much as they are a PITA for fishermen, they are sure entertaining to watch! I have a short video that I'll try to post. Never tried to post a vid, so stay tuned it may take a while.

Nice pics, did you feel a little uncomfortable around all them rocks, one just under the surface could make for a very bad day on the water. You probably know the lake well, I would be ****tin freaked around that area not knowing.

That isn't a lake, it's the salt chuck! I grew up fishing around the area so I'm pretty comfortable. Once we got close, I lifted the leg (I/O) and putted around with the 8hp kicker. Had one of the kids on the bow as well just to watch for rocks. We'd putt into the current to get to the end of the reef then kill the motor and just drift past. The seals get real close when you're just drifting quietly. They were all around us most of the time!
