Considering a fishing boat with one. A 1998, well taken care of and runs well. Just wondering if it's a reliable motor. Also, how does this motor compare to lets say a 35 horse Evinrude or Johnson that's older?

Thanks all! :D

Very good motor. I have not had mine long but it pushes my 16ft lowe about 30mph by myself and 24 with two or three people. You can buy an older 35hp but will have to sink money into it before you get on water for it to run right.
