Hey you.

Were you at Bass Lake this weekend?

Did you go down by the dock and see the colonial blue Lonestar?

Did you hop in and decide to steal the solar panel charger? The air horn? The tank of fuel? (Hope you used it in your car.) and the 3 pack of "STORM Baby Pike" fishing lures?

Well... if you were... I hope you get much enjoyment out of it.

As you can guess... my boat was violated this weekend while camping. From this point forward I will pull it in and keep it at the campsite every night instead of thinking that people have any decency left in them. Total cost to me: $75 give or take. Total cost to them: Their morality.

Thank god I took the fish finder and GPS out.

I feel for you pal. I used to frequent a resort in northern Minnesota that had a wonderful protected boat harbor, covered slips that you drive into, plugged in your on-board charger and went about your business. In later years the owner began warning people to take their gear out of the boat at night because the locals were "sneaking in" and helping themselves. They were caught every time, but when turned over to the authorities, they were back on the street before the paper work was completed. My rod boxes were locked and the locators removed so I never lost anything but others did. We obviously quit going there. It's a shame there are so many light fingered idiots on the loose these days. In the middle east they have a remedy for that. They remove the hand used to eat with. That's a bad deal because the other hand is used to -- well lets just not go there.
