West Bend 450 Golden Shark Bearing Cage

I have a West Bend 450 Golden Shark Model #45521 Serial #2285, and I think what is called the bearing cage (A141298 Bearing Cage) is broken. I may be able to fix it by welding, but in preparing it I had to remove a seal that is inside it. I broke the seal of course and now need a new one. Any help on where to get a complete bearing cage assembly or just the seal? Also, does anyone know if it is okay to put grease in the lowest portion of the gear case? It has a plug on the very bottom that says "grease fill." The former owner filled the upper and lower portion with gear oil, but I'm thinking I should fill the lower portion with grease because of the writing on the case.
