West Bend Golden Shark Prop

I just got a 40hp Golden Shark built about 1959 or 1960. The prop and nut are missing. The shaft is smooth (not splined) and uses a shear pin. Anybody have a source for a prop and nut? A buddy of mine has an older Evinrude motor and the shaft looks the same. Did not take measurements. Would a prop from an older Johnson or Evinrude work?<br />Are there any good sources for manuals on this motor? Thanks in advance.

Hi Bill<br />If you could post you model# and ser# it might help id your motor exactly. Since West bend was bought out by Chrysler Marine. So many of the parts are the same. When you need parts and manuals look for Chrysler.
