Wet Fairing Block

So I just had the boat launched a couple of days ago. While checking things out i noticed the fairing block for the A/C is wet. No water is running into the boat other than what is seaping through the block. To do the repair would be $150 but tack on another $400 to haul and re-launch. How urgent is it that I have the work done? I woud like to wait until fall haul out so everything can dry out good before doing the reair.

water outside the boat is good. water in the boat is bad. you decide.

that is one of the things that would eat at me all season if I didnt pull the boat to repair.

Re: Wet Fairing Block

What ever is currently getting wet is only going to get more water exposure, and once it's really good & wet, what else will get wet?

I'm w/ Scott, it'd nag at me every moment I'm away from the boat...
