new to forum - Can't find anyone infromationregarding how Larson constructed stringers and floor.

Bought a '93 Larson open bow with 5.0 Merc and got ALL of the problems. The motor is new (thanks to the dealer) and runs flawless. The floor is next. Did Larson seal the 1/2" plywood deck before carpeting? Is the deck screwed directly to the stringers? The plywood under the fiberglass floor of the ski locker compartment was wet and I have already cut it out and removed the wet foam. Waiting to replace to see if I can find the source of the water????? There is a drain hole at the compartment floor level (to drain back to the stern) but the water below the floor was trapped by the bulkhead. The fiberglass floor is this compartment was very poor and could have been the failure point if theprevious owner let rainwater set in there? Is there any other way that water can get in? Could water at the stern travel along the outside of the stringers, toward the bow and end up in this compartment when decelerating?
