wet stringer

A boat that I looked at had a survey done and the stringer (starboard) is "wet". The survey said to check annually, its a 40 foot jersey. do I run now or what kind of money am I looking at to have professionaly done. And do I also have the port done? Thanks Gary

That depends on a lot of things. Not the least of which is cost of the boat, cost of th repair, and value of the boat before and after the repairs.
