I have been battling a sinus infection/bronchitus for about 3 weeks and this weekend I had no energy,it hurt to breathe deep and had a fever on and off sick to my stomache and slept a lot(bad enough I let the wife mow the lawn).
I made a deal with my oldest son that if he cleaned the cat box I would take the trash out for him. well I pulled the inner can and bag out tied the bag went to push the can off the bag yellow tie thing on bag broke and the whole thing came crashing down on my big toe. then last night I went to step over the baby gate into the bathroom to get my cough medicine before bed and some how my foot hit it and when I jerked my leg up and my little toe got caught on something I lost my balance and fell forward and broke my darn toe same foot by the way I dropped the trash can on.
My wife called me this morning to see how I was doing she had just left the Dr. office(she weighs in weekly I guess for her diet she as lost ~44lbs so far
) and said she talked to the dr and told her about my weekend and all and the dr said she wants me in the office today or tomorrow to make sure I don't have pneumonia(just what I need)
today at work (gimping around) I finished setting up the last police car of the year and had a problem with the arrow bar figured it out with a few calls to tech support and then moved on to a trash truck with a laundry list of problems. Fixed what I could and went to pull it back around back right before closing time and had to swing wide to make it and I'll be DAMNED I hit a steel post filled with concrete and bent a step and the battery box. My boss said it was no problem I will get a letter of caution and we can straighten the bent pieces.
And to top it all off we lost our 4- 10's at work and have to go back to 5- 8's it is going to stink after 6 1/2 years of working 10's
