Took the toon out, the family and a friend of mine, and the kids got to ride on the tube for the first time in their lives and they just couldnt get enough. I even had to take a few trips. Wife said " good purchase, cant believe those smiles ". Those kids just couldnt believe how fun it was.

First trip with my new prop. 11 pitch. With three adults and three little kids and gear I maxed out at 6100 RPM's and 24 mph. One question, I put the prop on myself. It was not hard, but I can grab the prop with my hands and pull it towards me and then push it back towards the motor and it moves about 1/8 of an inch. Just a little. The prop its self is solid on the shaft, but the whole shaft/prop assembly can move horizontally just a pinch. I think its fine, it works fine, but I didnt know if it was supposed to be rock solid. Also my boat doesnt go any faster with a 11 pitch at 6100 RPM than it did with a 15 pitch at 5000 RPM's. not sure it matters, just saying. Hope the 11 is right.

Man I am in love with this boating thing, I want to take tomorrow off!!

If you have the thrust washer in place the 1/8" play should be ok.
Thrust washer, prop, finned washer prop nut.

I went from a 19" pitch prop to a 15" pitch prop on my 24" tritoon. No more speed, but I feel like I could pull a battleship.

Good work trout. Can't put a price tag on those little smiles. Keep us posted on the prop situation.
