I read somewhere that as a man ages he loses certain portions of the frequency spectrum in his hearing. Can't find the info now but I remember reading it. The real interesting part on the article was that in most cases of loss the frequency of women's voices was right in the middle of the loss.<br /><br /> So you can clearly see that the men are not simply ignoring you, they are the victums of hearing loss...

Yea, it didn't work when I read the article to herself. Then I got her to read it. Being she is an RN and recognized the publisher of the article I can now ignore her and blame it on the hearing loss...

SBN,<br /> I believe the article was on one of her AJN (American Journal of Nursing) magazines but can't find it now. It was a few months ago that I read the article because I remember thinking at the time "What a good excuse to not listen".<br /><br />Probably the reason I can't find it is after pointing it out to her she read and then destroyed the magazine.<br /><br />Don't tell herself...
