Mounted on the flywheel and it is splined. The driveshat that has your u-joints on it engages into it.

Well...I am correct assuming you have either a Mercruiser, newer Volvo or OMC Cobra. What do you have?

Since you now know what and where it is....you should probably also know that if yours is failed, you will have to remove the drive and remove the engine (in that order) to replace it.

If you want to do it yourself, at the minimum, get an OEM service manual and an alignment tool.
