I have an old aluminum prop (mid-60's I thnk) off of a 140 HP O/D Eaton and no one I've talked to knows what the numbers on the prop mean. On the hub below the name Michigan is the #SMC942 and bteween the blades are the #'s 288W and 447M. I've e-mailed Michigan Prop early last week and I checked this morning and they still haven't responded. I don't even know if this is the right prop so if any one of you can help I would really appreciate it. Thanx, Phil

The numbers between the blades may be from prop shop work.....I don't have my MWC book handy or I'd look and see what the correct prop is...have you tried iboats prop finder???

Re: what are all these numbers?

I finally got an answer from mwc and they say that the prop is no longer made and that I'm going have difficulty finding a prop to fit my Eaton drive train. The prop is a 14 R 15 3 blade and the Eaton set up puts out 140hp at 4200 RPM but I still don't know if this the right prop. Oh well they gave me the name of a prop shop here in the state so I guess thats my next step. Thanx for the input, Phil
