Hey Patty,<br /><br />The adjustments, taking for granted that it is of 67' vintage, are the low speed adjustment needles. These needles tune the air,fuel mixture for low speed operation. If you would, please post the model number. This is just for a double check on the year and my brain. <br /><br />If you need to set the needles, <br />with the engine in the water and unrestrained, warm the engine up and just put it in gear. Starting with one needle, turn just about 1/16 to 1/8 turn at a time clockwise. Allow about 15sec. for engine to respond to adj. When the engine starts running rough or sneezing, go the other way with the needle till it does the same thing. Then turn needle to a point inbetween the two positions. Then do other needle. Sometimes these adjustments take a while and you may have to go through the procedure a few times. If the carb is clean and ignition system is in good shape, the engine should respond to the adjustments. Keep us posted. Thanks and Good Luck!
