What are these things and how to get them off

I am doing the cleaning job on my hull that I did not have time for last fall. I stored my boat on the water in a small river. Needless to say I've got quite a crusty waterline. That is coming off OK. What I am finding are these little spider like growths on the hull that are very tough to remove. Anybody know what these might be and how to get them off??

I don't know what they are but easy on easy off gets all that nastiness right off. You can get it at any marine store. Just hold your breath when you spray it. It's hard on the lungs.

yup, you want to use on/off. don't breath, wear gloves and goggles, etc. almost killed myself with the stuff numerous times. once on, let it sit just a minute or so, scrub with brush and rinse off.
